Shae Allred, LMT, CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner

Assistant Director at Wholistic Body Solutions

Inspired by lifelong personal experience, Shae began her professional journey as an LMT practicing swedish massage, aromatherapy, and reflexology upon graduating from The College of Healthcare Professions. After having the opportunity to work with a number of individuals with chronic muscle pain, she later became certified and practiced trigger point and cupping therapy, which was highly beneficial among athletes. During her first year of work, she became extremely curious and passionate about the mind- body connection— and went on to study reiki and craniosacral therapy— the idea that we’re all affected from an emotional to cellular level was confirmed and this is where she thrives— “it’s amazing, this whole world of opportunity to help others in ways I never even knew existed opened up, and my purpose became clear.”  With the understanding that every body is different, she is highly intuitive and compassionate to each individual’s needs and is set to continue her education at the Upledger Institute— with plans to incorporate the health and well-being of animals through bodywork in the future.

Dana Farrell, Registered Nurse, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Yoga Instructor,         Reiki Practitioner, CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner

Just out of high school, I felt a calling to go into the healthcare industry and have been a practicing Registered Nurse for the last 33 years. My career has given me the opportunity to experience many facets of healthcare; the hospital setting working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Home Health, and most recently Nutritional Health Coaching and Community Education for a nonprofit, Cuisine for Healing. My Nursing time now revolves around the education of people who, for whatever reason, have had an experience with illness or a desire for a healthful lifestyle. It’s through this path I found my love of Holistic Medicine.

Fifteen years ago, I read a book that changed my life. I learned about the food and meat industry in our country and began a lifelong search for ways to impact my life and others. Through eating healthy, non-processed, wholesome foods we can truly impact our health and illnesses. I changed my own lifestyle and way of eating which has had very noticeable effects on my health and well-being and that of my family. This led me to complete a yearlong certification at the Integrative Institute of Nutrition in New York City where I became a Certified Health Coach and Holistic Nutritionist. I feel honored to be a part of the evolution of Holistic Health. We truly are what we eat and there much to be said about how Mother Earth can heal us. Education and awareness are key factors to changing our minds and bodies.

During my journey, I had the opportunity to attend a teacher training in Kundalini yoga. I set out on this mission for self education to help me learn to practice yoga, breath work and meditation. In the future In October 2017, I completed a Just Kidding Around Yoga teacher training and I am on my way to creating a children’s wellness program.

This last year I began a certification in Aromatherapy which has been amazing. This is another aspect of Holistic Health that is a worldwide recognized healing modality. I am already incorporating this in my life and practice and I hope to become a valuable voice in this area.

I hope to continue to learn and practice all manner of Holistic Medicine. I truly think this is where our future lies in curing illness.
